SZ Phoenix 2011/12 Tryouts Announced
The new soccer year is fast approaching and SZ Phoenix is gearing up for what will be another successful season. This year’s tryouts for the SZ Phoenix events will be taking place at the Southern Maine Sport Zone, Saco.
SZ Portland Phoenix will be offering a variant of programs for every level of soccer player.
Phoenix Juniors – For U10 & U11 players we will be running year round teams, winter only teams & Winter Clinics.
Elite Teams – Those players who make our elite teams, will take part in year round play with an extended program into the summer months.
Premier Teams – The premier program is for players that are not quite ready for the Elite program or those that cannot commit to the Elite program schedule.

Fall Premier Season
As premier soccer within the state continues to evolve our club is committed to providing each player with a developmentally sound soccer experience. Each level will take part in the following:
U10 & U11 Boys & Girls – Each team will take part in 1 weekly practice, and 2 in house scrimmage events
U12 – U14 Boys & Girls ELITE TEAMS – Each team will take part in 1 weekly practice, and will play in the Fall NEP League.
U12 – U14 Boys & Girls PREMIER TEAMS – Each team will take part in 1 weekly practice, and 2 in house scrimmage events. (Fall NEP will be available to those teams who we feel its applicable for)
As a club program we appreciate town travel soccer is an integral part of the fall season, so naturally we will endeavor to ensure our players can take part in both programs.
